Media Resources

During its annual conference, FETC offers local, state, and national education, business, and technology media the opportunity to learn more about educational technology, as well as innovative companies, products and services.  Media representatives check in prior to the Opening General Session in the designated Press Room at the Orange County Convention Center.  Media will be given conference credentials and notified of scheduled press events throughout the conference. The FETC Press Room serves as a work site, meeting place and lounge during the conference, and is staffed by public relations professionals. We can assist you both on-site and before the conference through the following channels:

News release/media kit distribution: Information provided by exhibitors and sponsors will be made available to attending media on the Virtual Newsroom and in the on-site Press Room.

Press Conferences and Interview Space: Press conferences may be held in the Press Room by exhibitors and sponsors, and will be scheduled and publicized in advance. One-on-one interviews may also be conducted in the Press Room when available. Space can be reserved by contacting the Press Room staff at FETCpress@1105media.com.

Wireless Internet access: Internet access is provided so you may work or write directly from the Press Room.  The Press Room offers only wireless Internet access.  Please be sure to have an active wireless card for your laptop computer. A desktop computer will be available to use on a first-come, first-served basis.

Use of the FETC Web site and Virtual Newsroom: The FETC Virtual Newsroom is designed to give media fast access to up-to-date information, news releases, schedules, and graphics needed to cover the conference.

Listing on registered press directory:
The registered press directory will give exhibitors and sponsors the opportunity to schedule press meetings and product demonstrations prior to FETC. Knowledge of potential stories before the conference enables media to cover the event more efficiently. The registered press list will be made available online after December 28, 2009. Access to conference activities is only available to registered press.

The Press Room is located in room W203B of the Orange County Convention Center.
